ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems)

Available as a conversion/upgrading/transition or new system, ISO 9001:2015 applies to any organization who is interested to organise and formalise a management system – to assure its consistent product/service quality to customers, as well as to improve its management performance.

ISO 9001:2015 is a Quality Management System (QMS) that is designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to the product. ISO 9000 deals with the fundamentals of quality management systems, including the eight management principles on which the family of standards is based.

 

Funding Available for SMEs for Integrated Management Systems

The Capability Development Grant (CDG) is a financial assistance programme aimed at helping Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) defray up to 70% of qualifying project costs, relating to consultancy,  training, certification, upgrading productivity and developing business capabilities for process improvement, product development and market access. SPRING's enhanced funding support of up to 70% would be effective for three years until 31 March 2018.

 

The supportable standards within this IMS project are :

  • ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Management Systems
  • ISO 14001 : 2015 Environmental Management Systems
  • SS 506 or OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems* (current version)


To qualify as an Integrated Management Systems (IMS), applicants would need to adopt a combination of at least two of the above standards.

Note : Adoption of SS506 or OHSAS 18001 within an IMS would only be supported for first-time adopters.
